SPOON MOSLEY
Westside Theater Technical Director
Spoon (Abbey) Mosely's first experience working in dance was setting off a confetti cannon after sneaking onto the stage at age 11. They have been backstage ever since. They fell in love with lighting for dance and began designing for Bare Bait Dance in 2019. They graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Lighting and Scenic Design.
Throughout their career, they have worked with many companies including Montana Repertory Theater, The Dennison Theater, Logjam Productions and most recently as the Technical Director for Missoula Children's Theater. Recent design credits including the set for The Lightning Thief at Missoula Children's Theater, lighting for The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Missoula Children's Theater, and lighting for An Exquisite Corpse here at the Westside.
A few personal favorite BBD shows would include Here Be Dragons (the first show at the Westside!), When The Dust Settles, and RePlay. When not behind the light board or holding a paintbrush, you can find them rowing down a river, hoping to admire some trout.
