NEW THIS YEAR! westFEST 2025 includes opportunities for both professional performers and recreational movers to train and perform. westFEST’s week-long workshop intensive offers professional-level training, collaboration, and performance opportunities.
3 WESTFEST DANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Weeklong westFEST full Intensive opportunities
Join us for a week of seamlessly blended training, collaborative rehearsal processes, and performances in an immersive, community-building experience for the Mountain West’s dance community.
Deepen your technique and training during the morning workshops and then collaborate with professional dancers and choreographers in the afternoon and evening to learn choreography to be performed at the opening performance of westFEST New Works festival on August 15 and 16.

We’ve got you covered. You can participate in all daily classes led by local and visiting artists without committing to performing.
PERFORM your original work AT WESTFEST
Okay…Go! wraps up westFEST New Works Festival on August 17 with a celebration of all types of performing arts!
Submit your work to be featured in this open showcase-style concert. Ok…Go! includes everything from dance to spoken word poetry to cirque acts - an opportunity to present something new you’ve been working on and connect with other artists. From beginners to professionals, all performance-makers are welcome!
All Okay…Go! Acts receive a $100 honorarium, and 6 weeks of free rehearsal space throughout the summer.
